In the northern region of the Greater Toronto Area in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, there is a suburban conservation area and teaching institution called the Kortright Centre for Conservation. The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority is in charge of running it. The majority of the region where it is situated is covered with forests, especially in the north and west. Cold Creek and Harris Creek are located to the north, the Humber River is towards the west.
The 325 acre building was inaugurated in 1979. A visitor centre, various demonstration locations, and a 16 km route network for hiking and snowshoeing are all present. An indoor family entertainment complex called LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Toronto is situated in the Vaughan Mills shopping district in Vaughan, Ontario, not far from Toronto.
